Candle Care

How to take care of our candles

1. Before switching on

To ensure optimum ignition quality, it is recommended to cut the wick at a height of 4 mm.

2. Let the candle burn evenly

This step is essential especially when you light the candle for the first time: leave it on for at least a couple of hours until the wax has melted evenly, in a single layer, from the wick to the edges.

3. The flame must never be too high

Avoid too high flames that can burn the candle unevenly. Normal level flames will prevent black smoke or soot from forming on the glass jar.

4. Do not consume the candle at once

Candles should burn for up to 4 hours in a row, then turn off for at least 2 hours and then turn on again. Be careful not to leave them on overnight - it could be dangerous!

5. Safety rules

  • Never leave the candle unattended when it is lit.
  • It is advisable not to let the last centimeter of wax burn to avoid a possible bursting of the glass.
  • Do not light the candle near flammable objects.
  • Do not place candles near heat sources or drafts.
  • Light the candle in places out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Always cut the wick to 4mm before each ignition.

Failure to comply with the ignition regulations and safety regulations can cause fire and physical damage.
